After introducing the community and their linked Group icons update for WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.13.12 now, WhatsApp is rolling out an improved and new interface for the communities tab, and it’s available for some beta testers. This update is rolling out and marked as complete but is only available for some beta testers on the Google Play beta program.

WhatsApp is continuously working to improve the interface for its Android app, and after introducing a new switch that adheres to the guidelines of material design 3. WhatsApp is now rolling out an enhanced interface for community tabs, and this updated interface is not directly related to material design.
What’s new in communities
This update is for the enhancement of community designs. You can see a new interface when the user joins any community. Communities help users to stay connected with various groups. These groups are created around specific topics to improve communication among members. The community admin can also be used for announcements and sharing important updates with all the community members.
If you already join at least one community on WhatsApp, you can explore a new community pages in the community tab, which help to add more communities. WhatsApp introduced this new community page to some beta testers who installed the WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.23.12.13 update, and currently, this will be available only for limited beta testers.
